Interpreting
Allowing everyone to follow the conversation
Our interpreting services are available to help facilitate the conversation where not every participant shares the same language. Helping to provide direct interpreting both ways, so discussions can be followed and any key decisions can be effectively made. There’s a great deal of benefit to providing an interpreter, including making participants feel valued and respected.
Our interpreters have extensive training and experience, and hold recognised qualifications such as Community Interpreting or the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI). Where new interpreters wish to work for NRL, we’ll undertake a thorough assessment of their application prior to them starting – to ensure they meet our high standards.
When working with you, they’ll practice the impartial model of interpreting – which means you can expect strict confidentiality, delivered in line with our strong code of ethics.

Providing remote interpreting
Businesses are now adopting video meetings and conferencing much more regularly. Reducing the need for overseas travel and the associated expenses incurred when hosting meetings to bring people together from different countries.
Virtual video interpreting is also ideal to organise ad-hoc meetings, and to support appointments such as court hearings.
If you need interpreting support for a remote meeting, conference or video appointment then we’ll work with you to identify the right interpreter with the language skills and sector experience to make your meeting as effective as possible.
